Declaiming is not the same as singing

All talk, fiery or not, worries the pets

The talkie parlando in an otherwise arcing song lets the audience chill and hear the plot

All parlando, end to end, is a snore, boring through gathered heads

Gather then on rooftops

And let out a scream and be seen — if you are brave enuf

And call it a poem if you must

But it’s not a song.
