Quiet morning in western North Carolina

It’s another quiet morning in western North Carolina.

The mockingbirds are eating apple pie, the small deer are flossing, and the felled trees are peeling.

It’s a steel-cut day with toasted walnuts, raisins, banana, strawberry slivers, and plenty of stirring.

Glare is banished today.
